Tomkins Realigns Aftermarket Sales Organization
As a result of Tomkins recent divestiture of Trico Products Corporation, the company has announced a realignment and segregation of the automotive aftermarket sales force.
Effective October 1, 2007, Cheryl Avery, Global Vice President of Sales, will assume automotive aftermarket responsibility for Tomkins AMG which includes the Ideal, Plews/Edelmann and Schrader-Bridgeport divisions. John Liuzzi, National Sales Manager Automotive East, and Steve Dresser, National Sales Manager Automotive West, will split the retail and distributor aftermarket sales efforts on either side of the Mississippi River with the existing sales rep agencies. Dan Baker, National Sales Manager Schrader EPD, will manage sales to the tire installer market, while Gordon Hoffman, Director of Marketing, will oversee marketing activities.
Effective November 1, 2007, Stant Manufacturing and Standard Thomson sales efforts will be led by Brian Childers, Vice President of Aftermarket and Industrial Business Development, Becky Blakley, Director of Aftermarket and Jeff Howell, National Sales Manager.
“This sales force segregation allows each of us to concentrate our efforts on our core products,” said Tomkins AMG Global Vice President of Sales, Cheryl Avery. “These changes will allow us to develop product line specialists and devote the appropriate sales time and effort to each of our products to grow sales for Tomkins and our customers."
